Trident Mower Range A finish to be proud of inside the timescale you planned!
The Trident mows when the grass is wet or dry, long or short. Unlike other types of mower, with the Trident, you set the timetable, not the mowing conditions. The reliability of the Trident flail system means not only reduced maintenance costs but also increased mower availability during the cutting season. Time Saving Tridents Continuous high output can be maintained when operating in obstructed areas as the patented SP drive line enables wing units to be raised clear then dropped back into work without having to disengage the drive line. Should it be safer and faster to operate with a reduced working width, individual wings can be folded for transport and the drive de-selected. A Cut Above The Rest The finish produced by the Trident has made it the number one choice for many discerning turf growers where appearance is everything. A combination of the special flail shape travelling at over 100mph giving a clean cut and the 140mm diameter rear rollers with 450kg pushing the surface flat leaves a finish to be proud of. A Trident For Your Tractor Available in working widths of 4.3mm, 5m and 6m, the Trident is tractor matched to power units of between 65 and 130bhp. The centre unit can be detached for use as a 1.8m wide 3-point linkage mower, or 2.5m with the Trident 6000. A Clean Cut With The Trident With the Trident rotor shaft spinning the specially shaped 40mm wide flails at 2200rpm in the opposite direction to the tractor wheels, the powerful air blast produced lifts the grass, including the wheel markings, to give a clean cut across the full working width. This high rotor speed means that the grass is chopped many times before being thrown downwards into the sward as a fine and evenly spread mulch. Roll As You Mow With The Trident The 140mm diameter rear rollers can be adjusted to control the exact cutting height for any m owing operation. They prevent scalping, push down stones and provide a striped appearance to the finished job. with a positive ground pressure of over 400kg per roller, they make an excellent job of preparing sport fields for the next event. Cut Costs With The Trident The cost of regular maintenance with gang mowers can easily be a four figure annual sum and the cost of accidental damage can be much more. The free swinging flails on the Trident fall back or to the side when they strike an obstruction and they never need sharpening. If a flail is damaged it can be replaced individually at very low cost. Also, all Trident gearboxes carry a no quibble two-year guarantee. Safe And Sure With The Trident Debris in public places is always a potential hazard. Rotary mowers throw to the side and cylinder mowers throw upwards but the Trident discharges down on to the ground. While optional rear rubber flaps are available for difficult conditions, the horizontal shaft cutting system of the Trident makes it much safer than alternative mowers. Features
