Transmission & Hydraulics

The durable transmission, heavy-duty hydraulics combined with the total weight of the S Series, make it the ideal machine for heavy duty cultivation and transport.

AGCO Variable Transmission

The new S Series tractors are equipped with the durable AVT-transmission (AGCO Variable Transmission). The stepless transmission is well-proven and easy to operate, allowing the operator to use full power for heavy duty jobs. Tractor and engine speeds can be adjusted via the foot throttle, hand throttle or via the efficient intelligent tractor control (ITC).

Hydraulics

Six hydraulics blocks with a Power beyond coupling and hydraulic pump producing 175 l/min. Powerful linkages: 5 tonnes in front and 12 tonnes at the rear. Load sensing circuit 200 l/min closed centre hydraulic system with flow and pressure control.

The power of S Series engines has been matched to the weight of the tractor, guaranteeing sufficient pulling power with even the heaviest implements.
