The new AGCO Sisu Power SCR engines are also clearly ahead of their time and offer unmatched levels of efficiency. Already today they comply with Tier 3B emissions standards.

The heart of the S Series is the 8.4CTA-4V AGCO Sisu Power engine, which is available with the ground-breaking SCR technology (standard in S352).

SCR advantages:

  • 3-7% less fuel consumption

  • Enhanced engine power and torque characteristics

  • Even better engine reliability

  • Longer engine life-time, due to more efficient and lighter cooling

The SCR engine is standard on the S352 and optionally available on other S Series models. In terms of fuel efficiency, the new SCR engines are among the best available on the market with 3-7% lower fuel consumption than competitors. The new more efficient and powerful engines combined with AGCO’s continuously variable transmission and standard on all models there is an intelligent tractor control (ITC) system that fulfils the needs of even the most demanding users.
 

How the SCR technology works

Harmful nitrogen oxides are reduced by injecting AdBlue, a urea-water-mix, to the exhaust gases after combustion.
 
The selective catalytic reduction (SCR) engine converts nitrogen oxides (NO2) into harmless nitrogen (N2) and water (H2O).
