C Series
Valtra's new C Series tractor is a compact tractor that has been developed especially with the demands and needs of livestock farms in mind. The Valtra C combines power with versatility.
With the main controls located in the seat arm rest, implement control has become even easier. Front loaders can also be controlled by the joystick. The C Series can be equipped with up to six hydraulic external valves, four of which can be adjusted for flow and time.
The C Series consists of seven new Valtra models ranging from 90 to 147 horsepower. The model line up includes one low rpm EcoPower model, the C120e, which is extremely competitive in terms of its total economy and efficiency. The five other models, the C90, C100, C110, C120 and C130, can be equipped with a turbine clutch and a choice of optional specifications to meet individual needs.
Due to its maintenance free durability and ease of use, the turbine clutch is ideal for front loader work. The smooth take off of the turbine clutch offers considerable advantages on all surfaces and specially during loader work.
The cab of the Valtra C features the very latest technology and know how. It is roomy, has plenty of light and visibility for front loader work is exceptional. A powerful heating unit and ventilation system ensures driver comfort in the ergonomic cab. The notably quiet cab can be equipped with automatic air conditioning, which maintains a steady temperature in all conditions. The seat can be rotated 180 degrees within the spacious cab, offering increased comfort and productivity when working with reach stackers.
The engine offered with the Valtra C is the reliable and economical 4.4 litre turbo charged diesel manufactured by Valtra Diesel. In the C110-C150 models a viscous fan comes as standard. The tractor is easy to maintain and the single piece engine cover lifts up to reveal conveniently placed servicing points.
The design concept of the new Valtra C with 40/60 weight distribution the tractor is ideally balanced for front loader work. all wheels have a secure grip on the ground, even when the large Valtra 970 model loader is employed. A heavy duty front axle increases the functionality of the C Series tractors and allows for a broad choice of implements to be used with the front loader. The reach of the large front loader is amazing when fitted to a C Series tractor.
The maximum output of the load sensing hydraulics is 90 litres per minute, which is more than sufficient for utilising livestock farming implements. The lift capacity of the rear linkage is 5.6 tons along its entire length, which enables total utilisation of modern implements.
All Valtra C models are equipped with a 36F+36R transmission with Powershift. The speed range is from 0.6km/h to 40km/h. Powershift is a familiar feature on Valtra tractors. It is extremely smooth, yet strong and fast enough to handle all kinds of situations. Ease of programming the transmission is the best on the market today. The three smallest models have an optional 24F+24R transmission. The speed range of this transmission starts at 3.1 km/h.
An ideal weight distribution together with a sturdy structure creates a tractor that is easy to operate. The C Series continues the Valtra design concept of round and modern lines, which has received many awards in Europe.
